Ampegon employees, Hani Garana and Dr. Simon Keens, attended the Radio Hack Europe event at the Radio Days 2019 conference at the L’Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) between March 29th and 31st 2019. Radio Hack Europe is an open concept, development and prototyping event encouraging blue-sky-thinking along the theme of “Radio and Media of Tomorrow”. Participants were encouraged to suggest novel ideas, develop software or propose solutions to existing issues in the field of commercial radio broadcasting. Against strong competition, Dr. Simon Keens won a prize for his “Engagement Booster” concept, presented to independent judges after 48 hours of development.”
