Cooperation will extend product portfolio of Ampegon and RUYI for the national China Digital Radio deployment (CDR) as well as for Scientific Applications
Turgi, Switzerland, March 20, 2013. Ampegon, world leading supplier of transmission and antenna systems and a pioneer in scientific applications has found an ideal partner in mainland China. This is the first established cooperation with a local manufacturer: Shaanxi RUYI Broadcast and Television Technique Co. is a major player in the Chinese broadcast and transmission industry. The state owned group has 40 years of experience, owns three R&D labs and works closely with several universities and the National Radio-, Film- and Television Administration.
RUYI has decided to partner with Ampegon as it is a famous company well-known in the world, has strong R&D capability and advanced technology products in the portfolio. Ampegon is operating its business in China for more than ten years with a branch office in Beijing.
The formal contract signed during an official ceremony in Beijing on February 28th 2013 by RUYI president Zengmeng SU and Ampegon CEO Josef TROXLER will include cooperation in the fields of Radio Broadcasting and Scientific Applications.
For RUYI and Ampegon this is an important step into the Chinese market as China will have its new national digital standard in FM CDR and MW CDR. By combining RUYI’s valuable experience in the products and the market with Ampegon’s excellent R&D capability both parties are expecting to develop products that can meet the market demand. In the field of scientific applications Ampegon and RUYI will combine the best of both parties for offers towards public Chinese research labs.
